Famously known as ‘The Generator’, Hasan Ali is a Pakistani pacer who played an important part in Pakistan’s victory in the 2017 Champions Trophy.

In the 2017 tournament, Hasan Ali grabbed 13 wickets in the tournament, making him the top wicket-taker, for which he was awarded the Golden Ball award. Hasan was also named the player of the tournament.

In 2017, Ali was also named the ICC Men’s Emerging Cricketer of the Year and was also given a spot in the ICC ODI Team of the Year.

In 2021 he was named in the ICC Test Team of the Year.
