Pakistan fast bowler Hasan Ali faced mocks from fans for his catching abilities following the conclusion of the third Test against Australia in Sydney on January 6.

Pakistan suffered a 3-0 whitewash against the home team, extending their losing streak to 17 matches in Australia. They are yet to win a Test since 1995.

Things took a turn for the worse as Hasan engaged with a rowdy Pakistan supporter.

The 29-year-old was the sole player from the Pakistan team who approached the crowd to sign autographs. However, he was promptly taunted by a particular Pakistani fan among the spectators.

A video circulating on social media captures the Pakistan fan mocking Hasan Ali for his missed catches.

The fan shouted: “Come here, let me teach you how to catch."

The 29-year-old fast bowler was quick to respond to the heckler, as he replied: "Sure, come here. Who will teach me how to catch?"

Hasan Ali has faced widespread criticism for dropping an easy chance of Australian batter Matthew Wade during the semifinal of the 2021 T20 World Cup.

His missed catch proved costly for Pakistan as Wade then struck three consecutive sixes off Shaheen Afridi in the following three deliveries, leading to Pakistan's elimination from the competition.

Regarding the SCG Test, Pakistan gained a useful 14-run first-innings lead after Aamer Jamal's six-wicket haul dismantled the Australian hosts for a mere 299 on Day 3. However, the visitors couldn't sustain the momentum, being dismissed for just 115 in their second innings by Day 4.

In response, Australia easily achieved their 130-run target. Retiring opener David Warner and number three batter Marnus Labuschagne both showcased impressive half-centuries during the chase, securing a 3-0 victory in the three-match series.
