Pakistani all-rounder Shadab Khan schooled an X, formerly known as Twitter, user for criticising his teammate Hasan Ali over a social media post.
Hasan shared Shadab's pictures on his X account with a caption in his national language to show love and appreciation for his teammate which an X user did not like and shared his post with a caption that the players should be taught how to use social media.
"For God's Sake @RealHa55an. You are an international cricketer...!! @TheRealPCBMedia @Rehan_ulhaq @TheRealPCB at least educate them how to use social media platforms," he wrote.
However, Shadab posted a long paragraph on his X account slamming the user saying that he does not feel any shame in his culture.
Pakistan left-handed opener Shan Masood also replied to Shadab's post and said that it is our national hobby to downplay others.
Shadab believes that one should not feel ashamed in following his own culture as big athletes like Lionel Messi also do not speak English.
