Sarfaraz Ahmed is a Pakistani cricketer who captained the national team from 2016 to 2019.

Under his captaincy, Pakistan won the ICC Champions Trophy in 2017. It was Pakistan’s first Champions Trophy title win and the first ICC trophy win since 2009 when Pakistan won the T20 World Cup.

Under Sarfaraz’s leadership, Pakistan also won their second Under-19 Cricket World Cup title in 2006 by defeating India in the final.
