Jurgen Klopp has no plans to assume the role of Bayern Munich manager after the season, as stated by his agent Marc Kosicke.

The German manager disclosed earlier this year his decision to depart from Liverpool this summer, opting for a break from touchline duties to recharge.

The former Borussia Dortmund boss explained that he deemed it his responsibility to determine his future, as his reputation at the club ensured he was never truly at risk of being sacked.

Klopp expressed his lack of inclination to return to the Premier League in the future, citing his deep respect for Liverpool. Furthermore, he has declined to comment on the possibility of venturing into international management.

Instead, Klopp is eager to take a year-long hiatus from football to relish a sense of normalcy after numerous years dedicated to coaching. Despite speculations that the managerial vacancy at Bayern during the summer might alter his plans, the 56-year-old remains steadfast in his decision.

The Bundesliga club has announced the departure of Thomas Tuchel at the end of the season following three consecutive defeats in all competitions. However, this development has not prompted Klopp to reconsider his stance regarding a move to the Allianz Arena.

His agent Kosicke told Sky Sports Germany: “Jurgen Klopp will not coach any club or national team for a year after this current season. That remains unchanged.”

The publication proceeded to state that those at Bayern believe it is '100 per cent ruled out' that the Reds boss would join the Bavarians, with other potential managers being considered instead. Bayer Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso is high on the shortlist for Bayern, with the Spaniard having guided the club to the top of the Bundesliga while remaining unbeaten.

Alonso is not short of suitors though, with Liverpool also keen to acquire the services of their former midfielder having been impressed by how he has taken to life in management at the BayerArena. Alonso has a tough choice to make when considering his next move, though remaining with Leverkusen should also not be ruled out.
