Tottenham Hotspur head to Goodison Park to face Everton in their 23rd match of the Premier League on Saturday and a win there could help them put pressure on city rivals Arsenal.

Things have not been easy for Everton this season, they were handed a 10-point penalty earlier this season and they currently sit 18th in the league with 18 points after 22 matches.

On the other hand, Spurs have already crashed out of the FA Cup, but still have an outside chance of winning the Premier League but their realistic goal would be to finish in top four and qualify for the Champions League. They are currently eight points behind table-toppers Liverpool and sit in fourth place.

Team News

Everton will be without Arnaut Danjuma after the Frenchman picked up an ankle injury against Fulham last week. Dele Ali, another former Spurs player, will not feature alongside midfielders Andre Gomes and Abdoulaye Doucoure. But Sean Dyche will welcome back one of his most trusted troops, Seamus Coleman, to make sure that the visitors don’t have an easy time.

On the other hand, Tottenham may have Paper Matar Sarr available as Senegal’s defeat in the AFCON means that the key midfielder would be able to join his team in London. Meanwhile, Heung-min Son and Yves Bissouma remain at the Asian Cup and AFCON, respectively.

Prediction

Being undefeated in their last four PL matches, Ange Postecoglou’s men would surely enter the Goodison Park with the required confidence to claim the win but Sean Dyche would make sure that the visitors don’t get away with an easy win. Everton are currently fighting to finish outside the relegation zone and a win against The Lilywhites would be a great confidence booster.

Everton 1-2 Tottenham Hotspur
