Young fast bowler Zaman Khan, who is the find of Pakistan Super League (PSL) reigning champions Lahore Qalandars, said he wants to fulfill his parents' wishes.

Zaman is currently playing for Derbyshire in T20 Vitality Blast. Derbyshire is coached by Mickey Arthur who is also the team director of Pakistan men's team.

Speaking to Geo News on Wednesday, Zaman talked about his life post PSL success.

"Alhamdulillah, I have been successful in PSL and playing in England right now," the young pacer said.

"Mickey Arthur is the best coach and mentor. He supports me a lot which gives me a lot of confidence. Everyone here gives lots of confidence to me. In return, I try to perform for my team," he added.

Zaman, who belongs to Azad and Jammu Kashmir, wants to send his parents for Hajj and Umrah.

"I want to fulfill every single wish of my parents," the rising cricketer shared. "I want to send them for Hajj and Umrah. If they need any medical help, I will be there for them every time," he maintained.

In reply to a question, Zaman said he spends his free time while reciting Quran and giving time to his family and friends.

"I have memorised more than half of the Quran so I recite during my free time. Apart from that, I spend my free time with my family, friends and people who come to meet me in my village," he concluded.

Zaman made his PSL debut in 2022 for Lahore. The young pacer rose to fame with his brilliant performance, especially in death overs. He has won the PSL twice with Lahore, in 2022 and 2023, while he also bagged the trophy in the last edition of the Lanka Premier League with Jaffna Kings.

The right-armer made his international debut for Pakistan against Afghanistan in March this year and has so far played in six T20Is while bowling at an impressive economy rate of 6.66.
