Following a compilation of Zidane’s performance circulating online, numerous fans noted a resemblance between the Frenchman and Real’s current No.5, Jude Bellingham.

Zidane joined Real from Juventus in 2001 and played a starring role in the Los Blancos side for the remaining five years of his career.

He scored 49 goals in 230 appearances for the Spanish giants, including a winning goal in the Champions League final in 2002.

After an illustrious playing career that saw the World Cup winner hailed among the greatest midfielders of all time, Zidane became Real manager in 2016.

Across two stints as Real boss, he won three Champions League titles and two La Liga crowns before stepping down in 2021.

Bellingham’s performances for Real this season have drawn comparisons with Zidane from certain quarters, with the England international having scored 16 goals and provided three assists in his 22 La Liga games so far.
