Pakistan's speedster Naseem Shah's 19-year-old brother, Hunain Shah, announced himself to the cricket fraternity with a six-wicket haul in only his fourth List A game on Friday between Lahore Blues and Faisalabad in Rawalpindi.

Hunain wreaked havoc on the Faisalabadi batters, taking six wickets for 26 runs in 7.2 overs with one maiden.

The 19-year-old's magical spell started with the wicket of Mohammad Huraira who was trapped LBW for just five runs.

Hunain then took the wickets of Mohammad Saleem, Mohammad Irfan Khan, Ali Shan, and Arham Nawaz but the most important one was of Pakistan's international player, Asif Ali, who was bowled by the 19-year-old after getting an inside edge on a short ball.

Courtesy of a staggering display by Hunain and other bowlers, Lahore were able to register a comfortable and dominating 94-run win against Faisalabad.

Batting first, Lahore didn't get off to a promising start and had lost three wickets for just 33 runs. But their middle order performed and took their side to a competitive total.

Umar Siddiq scored 46 off 41, Hussain Talat 39, Qasim Akram 33, Junaid Ali 47 and Umaid Asif with 41, all of these batters combined forces to make sure that their team didn't get out before setting a defendable target.

It must be noted that it was not the first time Hunain impressed cricket fans in Pakistan as earlier, he removed the promising Pakistani left-handed opener Saim Ayub with his first ball in a match between Karachi Whites and Lahore in Quaid-e-Azam trophy 2023-24.

It is worth mentioning that Naseem Shah is currently recovering from the shoulder injury he picked in the 2023 Asia Cup after which he had to miss the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023.
