UEFA reveals draw of Europa League

UEFA announced the draws of the Round of 16 of the Europa League on Friday, with some exciting fixtures on the cards.

After defeating Barcelona, Manchester United will play Real Betis in the Europa League's round of 16, while Arsenal will take on Sporting Lisbon.

United made a big statement on Friday by defeating the Spanish giants by 2-1 at Old Trafford to win the play-off match 4-3 on the aggregate score.

As the group winners, Arsenal will host the second leg of their match at home, while Manchester United will welcome Betis at Old Trafford.

Premier League leaders Arsenal won Group A with five victories out of their six games, avoiding the knockout stage playoffs.

Fourth-placed Sporting of Portugal's top division defeated third-placed Midtjylland of Denmark 5-1 in their Champions League play-off match.

Real Betis, managed by Manuel Pellegrini, finished the Europa League group stage with the best record in the competition, winning five and losing one. They are currently fifth in La Liga.

Sevilla, a six-time champion, will take on Fenerbahce in another match, while Jose Mourinho's Roma will take on Real Sociedad, the group winners from Manchester United.

It is worth mentioning here that the matches for the Europa League's Round of 16 will take place on March 9 and 16
