Defending champions France have faced an injury scare as three of their players didn't train ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2022 final clash with Argentina at the Lusail Stadium on Sunday.

Aurelien Tchouameni and Theo Hernandez did not train with the France team due to injuries to their hip and knee, respectively, on Friday.

Meanwhile, defender Raphael Varane and forward Kingsley Coman were the other two players who couldn't train with the squad as they suffered from cold.

For Didier Deschamps' team, which will play Argentina in the 2022 World Cup final on Sunday, all four have been essential players.

France has already suffered major injury concerns as many of their star players, who were part of the 2018 World Cup-winning team, couldn't be part of the Les Bleus.

Paul Pogba and N'Golo Kante were ruled out of the mega event after sustaining injuries while playing for their respective clubs.

Meanwhile, youngster Christopher Nkunku suffered an injury during France's final training session ahead of the tournament and Randal Kolo Muani was called to replace him.

Later, Ballon d'Or winner Karim Benzema was ruled out of the FIFA World Cup after sustaining an injury to his left thigh during a training session before their tournament opener against Australia.

However, despite the long list of absent players, France managed to get to the final.
