Morocco played with solid attack but France stopped them from making too much room
Morocco's FIFA World Cup dream ended in a disappointing loss to France in the semi-final on Wednesday.
The dream run could have continued if Morocco had turned their chances into successful attempts. But, France's defence was too strong as seven attempts were turned down by the defending champions.
In the fifth minute, France broke out in the defence of Morocco to score their first goal. Theo Hernandez made the most of the chance to net the ball successfully.
After giving 1-0 lead, Morocco played with solid attack but France stopped them from making too much room.
The men in red created few chances but missed it completely to remain goalless.
In 79th minute, Randal Kolo Muani netted the ball to take 2-0 lead for France.
The defending champions will now meet Argentina in the final on December 18.
