Pakistan Hockey Federation announces schedule for 2022
The national hockey team is scheduled to participate in six international events in the PHF sports calendar
Pakistan Hockey Federation has announced the schedule of the national sports calendar for the year 2022. The national hockey team is scheduled to participate in six international events in the PHF sports calendar.
These include the Asia Cup in May, a five-a-side hockey tournament in Switzerland in June, Commonwealth Games in Birmingham from July 28 to August 8, Asian Games in China from September 10 to 25, and a six-nation hockey tournament in Spain from December 8 to 22.
Meanwhile, domestic events include Under-16 School Hockey Championship, 37th National Junior Hockey Championship, 67th National Hockey Championship, National Tray Hockey Championship, 5th National Junior Women Hockey Championship, 31st National Senior Women's Hockey Championship, Inter-Club Hockey Championship, and first Pakistan Hockey Super League. 16 All-Pakistan Hockey Tournaments are also planned in the PHF sports calendar.
Training workshops, umpiring clinics, and courses are also scheduled in the sports activity calendar by the PHF to enhance the capacity of umpires, coaches, and technical officers.
