India outclassed arch-rivals Pakistan by three goals to one as Harmanpreet Singh netted two goals in the fifth match of the five-team Men's Asian Champions Trophy 2021 in Dhaka.
Harmanpreet put India in front in the ninth minute of the game with the second quarter going goal-less, Indian forward Akashdeep Singh doubled the lead for his team in the 42nd minute.
Though, just before the end of third quarter, Pakistan's Junaid Manzoor reduced India's two goal lead to keep Pakistan in the hunt.
However, just seven minutes before the final whistle, Harmanpreet almost sealed the deal for his team as India won the important match by 3-1.
With this victory, India are at top of table standings with seven points in three games, while Pakistan are on fourth spot with one point in two matches of the Men's Asian Champions Trophy.
Meanwhile, Pakistan's next game is against South Korea on December 18.
