Pakistan Shaheens' spinner Mehran Mumtaz was warmly welcomed by his mother at home when he returned with the Asian title.

Mehran played an important role in Pakistan A team's final victory over arch-rivals India A on July 23 in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

The cricketer reached home in Rawalpindi where he received a heroic welcome.

In a video shared by himself on Twitter, he can be seen having a wholesome moment with his mother.

"Champion on the field, but my mom's love is the real victory. Grateful for her warm welcome after winning the Emerging Asia Cup," he wrote.
