The left-arm spinner Nauman Ali suffered immense criticism after he went wicketless in the first innings of the ongoing opening Test against Sri Lanka in Galle. 

But, Nauman turned the tables for him in the second innings on day four and took three wickets to turn criticism into praise for him. 

On a spin-friendly wicket, Nauman went wicketless when Pakistan needed the most. On the other hand, Prabath Jayasuriya, Sri Lanka's left-arm spinner, bagged three wickets to rattle Pakistan's batting line. 

For his average performance, he was highly criticised on social media. But, now have a look at how people are praising him after his performance. 

Pakistan need 83 runs to win on last day

Pakistan were 48-3 at stumps on day four of the first Test against Sri Lanka in Galle on Wednesday, while chasing a target of 131 runs.

Imam-ul-Haq and Babar Azam were unbeaten on 25 and six runs, respectively, at the close of play.

Pakistan need another 83 runs to win the match on the final day and take a 1-0 lead in the two-match series. 

Prabath Jayasuriya claimed two top-order wickets of Pakistan after dismissing Abdullah Shafique (8) and Shan Masood (7).

Meanwhile, nightwatchman Nauman was run out after attempting a suicidal second run.

Sri Lanka were dismissed for 279 in their second innings, earlier during the day, which meant that Pakistan were set a target of 131 runs to win the match.

Abrar Ahmed and Nauman were the chief destroyers for Pakistan after claiming three wickets each. Meanwhile, Shaheen Afridi and Agha Salman bagged two wickets each.
