PFF women goalkeeper camp commences in Lahore today

The camp will conclude on June 11 and will be followed by another camp in Karachi from June 13 to 18

The women's goalkeeping camp, under the supervision of Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) normalisation committee, has commenced in Lahore today. 

Goalkeepers Nisha Ashraf, Tooba Idris, Sahar Zaman, Mafia Parveen, Ayina Mirza, and Naira Amin reported to goalkeeping coach Ahsanullah Khan in the camp. 

"The objective of the camp is to assess and identify the best goalkeeper among them, who will then have the opportunity to participate in the senior team camp later this month," the PFF NC said. 

"By evaluating goalkeepers in training, we aim to select 3 players who will then have the opportunity to participate in the National Women's Team camp, which is set to commence in the middle of June," the statement added. 

The camp will conclude on June 11 and will be followed by another camp in Karachi from June 13 to 18. 

PFF given NOC for four-nation tournament in Mauritius 

PFF, today, confirmed that they have got clearance from the foreign office to participate in the four-nation tournament in Mauritius.

After getting the No-Objection Certificate (NOC), the Pakistan team will travel to Mauritius tonight.

Pakistan will play their first match in four-nation tournament against hosts Mauritius on June 11.

On the other hand, PFF is yet to receive the NOC from the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) for the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) tournament which will take place in India, later this month.

If PFF gets NOC during four-nation tournament, they will travel to India directly from Mauritius.
