Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Peshawar Zalmi's owner Javed Afridi shared the latest view of Arbab Niaz Stadium.

Afridi, who was reportedly outside Pakistan during this year's PSL, shared a video featuring Peshawar stadium's latest condition.

"Peshawar Stadium today's visuals. Inshallah PSL 9 Zalmi will play their home games there," he wrote on Twitter.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)'s management committee aimed to take PSL to Peshawar this year but due to an unprepared stadium, the matches couldn't take place there. However, the management committee chairman Najam Sethi assured that the PSL 9 matches will take place in both Peshawar and Quetta

It must be noted here that Quetta's Bugti Stadium hosted PSL 8's exhibition match on February 5 this year. Sarfaraz Ahmed-led Quetta Gladiators and Babar Azam-led Peshawar Zalmi locked horns in a high-intensity game.

Star cricketers like Shahid Afridi, Wahab Riaz, Umar Akmal, Iftikhar Ahmed, Azam Khan, Naseem Shah, and Mohammad Haris participated in an exhibition match in front of a jam-packed ground.

Quetta beat Peshawar

Quetta Gladiators defeated Peshawar Zalmi by three runs during the exhibition match.

Chasing 185 for victory, Zalmi were restricted to 181-7 in 20 overs.

At the half-way mark, it seemed as if Zalmi would cruise to victory after reaching 109-1 in 10 overs.

However, Quetta picked up wickets at regular intervals towards the backend of the innings to stall their opponent's progress.

Opener Mohammad Haris, who played some stunning shots, top-scored with 53 runs in 35 balls.

Shahid Afridi and Babar Azam scored 25 and 23 runs, respectively.

Mohammad Hasnain was the pick of the bowlers for Quetta after bagging figures of 3-30 in four overs.

Meanwhile, Naseem Shah defended nine runs in the final over to get his side over the line.
