Star Indian batter Virat Kohli, who represents Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in IPL 2024, appeared displeased with Kolkata Knight Riders' batter Rinku Singh for breaking his bat and requesting a replacement.

RCB and KKR are currently facing each other for the second time this season. In their previous meeting, despite Kohli's impressive 59-ball 83, the Knight Riders emerged victorious. At the end of that match, Kohli gifted Rinku a bat, which unfortunately was broken by him.

KKR released a video capturing the exchange between the two players regarding the broken bat on the eve of the game.

Here's a glimpse of their conversation:

Rinku Singh: I broke the bat (you gave) against a spinner.

Virat Kohli: My bat?

Rinku Singh: Yes

Virat Kohli: You broke it against a spinner? Where did you break it from?

Rinku Singh: From the middle.

Virat Kohli: What should I do then?

Rinku Singh: I was just informing you.

Virat Kohli: No problem. Good that you told me. But I don't need information.

(Rinku then starts knocking the ball on two of Virat's bats.)

Virat Kohli: This bat is no good.

Rinku Singh: Are you giving me?

Virat Kohli: To whom am I giving?

Rinku Singh: You can keep it (returns Virat's bats to him)

Virat Kohli: You took a bat from me previously. Now you want a second? Because of you, I face consequences later.

Rinku Singh: I swear on you, won't break the bat again. I can show you the broken bat.

Though Virat refused to give Rinku a bat in the video, it wouldn't be a surprise if the RCB star decides to give the KKR lad another one of his bats after the match.
