Stephen Curry, a guard with the Golden State Warriors, has been sidelined with a knee injury.

After colliding knees with a rival during the third quarter of the Warriors' 119-113 victory against the Dallas Mavericks, Curry hobbled off the court.

On Sunday, he underwent an MRI, which revealed that he had bruised his lower leg and sustained "partial tears" to the ligaments in his left knee.

"He will not play in tomorrow’s game and additional clarity on a potential timeline will be established in the coming days," a Warriors' statement read.

Additionally, he is also likely to miss his ninth NBA All-Star Game on February 19 after being selected as a starter.

With a partially dislocated shoulder, four-time NBA champion Curry has already missed 11 games this year.

Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nets and Dallas Mavericks have agreed to trade Kyrie Irving, according to reports.

The 30-year-old point guard had asked for a trade after failing to reach an agreement on a new contract.
