National cricketer Shan Masood got married on January 20 in an intimate Nikah ceremony in Peshawar. 

Shan tied the knot with the love of his life Nische in Peshawar. Their reception will take place in Karachi on January 27. 

Fans and cricketers congratulated the cricketer for starting a new inning of his life. 



Shan made his debut for Pakistan Test team in 2013. Since then, he has played 28 Tests, six ODIs and 19 T20Is. 

He made his return to Pakistan team after proving his mettle in County Cricket. 

Under the new Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) set-up led by Najam Sethi, Shan was named the vice-captain of national ODI team in absence of Shadab Khan who missed home ODI series against New Zealand due to injury. 

It must be noted here that controversy sparked after Shan was named vice-captain of the team in presence of Mohammad Rizwan. He also didn't play first two games of three-match ODI series against New Zealand. 

Shan will represent Multan Sultans in the upcoming eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
