FIFA World Cup: Qatar Consul General visits KPT Football Stadium ahead of mega event

KARACHI: Qatar Consul General Mishal Mohammed A. A. Al-Ansari visited Karachi Port Trust (KPT) Football Stadium ahead of the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2022. 

Qatar is all set to become the first-ever Arab country to host FIFA World Cup this year in November-December. 

The Consul General toured the state-of-the-art football stadium and also met some football players. He was told about Pakistan's football talent and players' ambitions to represent the country in an international event. 

Meanwhile, KPT's management shared that the FIFA World Cup 2022 will be shown on the big screen in the stadium throughout the event. 

Football fans in the city will be able to watch matches live on the big screen. 

The mega football event will take place from November 20 to December 18 in different cities in Qatar. Special stadiums have been built for the mega event.
