ICC World Cup 2019 captains to meet Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace

Sarfaraz Ahmed who had been in Nottingham with the rest of the team arrived in London for his meeting with Queen Elizabeth II at the Buckingham Palace

LONDON: Captain of the Pakistan team Sarfaraz Ahmed touched down in London to meet Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday along with the other team captains.

Sarfaraz who had been in Nottingham with the rest of the team arrived in London for his meeting with Queen Elizabeth II at the Buckingham Palace accompanied by captains of all remaining nine teams of the ICC World Cup 2019.

Reports revealed that subsequent to the meeting with the Queen, the captains will attend the ICC World Cup’s opening party.

Host team England will be kicking off the tournament of May 30 as they lock horns with South Africa at the Oval in London.

On the other hand, Pakistan will be playing its first match against West Indies on May 31 at Trent Bridge in Nottingham.
