Kylian Mbappe is taking legal action against a kebab shop owner for using his name in the title of one of their sandwiches.

Mohamed Henni, an influencer residing in Marseille and widely recognised in the football community across France, has launched a kebab establishment.

As per ESPN, The description of his Klüb kebab is that it is made with a "baker round bread, as round as Mbappe's skull."

Henni, a Marseille fan with 1.8 million followers on Instagram, received a certified letter on Wednesday morning from Delphine Verheyden, the Mbappes' lawyer, acting on behalf of KMA, the company established by the player to manage all his sponsors, merchandise, and image rights.

The letter demands that Henni remove the name of Mbappe from his menu within eight days before taking him to court for using his name without his consent for commercial purposes.

The influencer, clearly shocked by Mbappé's actions, reacted on his Instagram.

"Are you not ashamed? You have nothing else to do? Suing me for something so futile? It is incredible. I can't believe it!" Henni told his followers.

Dimitri Payet, the former Olympique Marseille and West Ham star, currently playing at Vasco de Gama, is also part of one sandwich description: "A crepe as loaded as Payet."

It must be noted that Mbappe is close to joining Real Madrid from next season. Mbappe’s move is just a matter of time now as multiple outlets have reported that the official deal will be announced as soon as final details are agreed upon between the two sides.

Los Blancos have been trying to sign Mbappe since his AS Monaco days in 2017-18 but the player decided to join PSG on a €180 million deal.

The deal was likely to happen last summer after the 25-year-old sent a letter to the French club saying that he would not extend his contract till 2025.
