Pakistan's rising squash talents showcased their prowess at the Scottish Junior Open, clinching a remarkable four medals—three gold and one silver.

Mehwish Ali and Sakhiullah Tareen emerged victorious, securing gold medals in the U15 and U17 categories, respectively.

Adding to the glory were Mahnoor Ali, claiming gold in the Girls U11 event by overpowering India's Sanaita Singh, and Sehrish Ali, who clinched bronze in the Girls U13 event after a hard-fought battle against Japan's Emily Senior.

Mehwish Ali emerged triumphant in the U15 category, outplaying Canada's Olivia Bolger with a scoreline of 11-8, 11-5, 11-8. In the U17 event, Sakhiullah Tareen displayed remarkable skill, securing gold by defeating USA's Anay Sawant with a score of 12-10, 11-5, 11-7.

Mahnoor Ali dominated the Girls U11 category, defeating India's Sanaita Singh 11-2, 11-1, 11-3 in a stellar final performance. Furthermore, Sehrish Ali triumphed in the Girls U13 event after a hard-fought battle against Japan's Emily Senior, claiming victory with a scoreline of 11-7, 11-8, 5-11, 4-11, 16-14.

Despite Pakistan's neglect of squash infrastructure, the consistent excellence of its players continues to bring pride to the nation. The lack of resources and institutional support hasn't deterred these talented athletes from excelling on the international stage, proving their resilience and dedication to the sport.
