PCB provides update on injured pacers Ihsanullah, Mohammad Hasnain

Both the pacers are out of action

Pakistan's two injured pacers, Ihsanullah and Mohammad Hasnain, are undergoing rehabilitation as per the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

As per PCB's press release, the 20-year-old Ihsanullah suffered an elbow injury and has been ruled out from international cricket since playing for Pakistan in the ODI series against New Zealand at home this year in April.

The right-arm pacer had to undergo surgery in a private hospital in Lahore. A doctor was flown in from England to operate Ihsanullah in the first week of September to operate Ihsanullah in the first week of September.

After the operation, he was placed in an elbow brace for four weeks, with a doctor and physio attending him on a daily basis.

PCB stated his condition is satisfactory and the brace will be removed at the end of the fifth week. Afterwards, he will proceed with rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy(NCA) in Lahore.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Hasnain sustained an ankle injury while playing in the Lanka Premier League (LPL) in August. He travelled to England from Sri Lanka and had an MRI. The scans revealed the fast bowler requires rehabilitation for his ankle, which has been under process since September 13 in England.

It must be noted Hasnain was part of the Pakistan Shaheens squad for the 19th Asian Games, however, he was ruled out and replaced by Mubassir Khan.
