The Premier League club Newcastle United posted a video of 16-time WWE Champion John Cena, who was promoting his new movie Fast X, talking about English defender Dan Burn on Friday.

In the clip, Cena praises the 31-year-old for driving a Smart Car, despite the fact that he’s very tall (6 ft, 7 inches to be exact).

The wrestler-turned-movie star has been pictured wearing a Tottenham Hotspur shirt before but has also gone to Stamford Bridge to watch Chelsea players.

“Nice, so I like this,” Cena said. “Dan Burn owns a smart car. And he’s six foot seven.

“This is a conscious effort to make a statement and that’s why cars are like art. They are expressions of who we are.

Cena continues: “This guy knows his self-worth. He looks in the mirror every day and says, ‘I’m enough’. And a fancy car doesn’t define me.

“Dan Burn – nice flex. Sick burn.”

The 30-year-old has been a big success at Newcastle United since his move from Brighton in January 2022.

He's a regular under the head coach Eddie Howe, having played 16 games in the Premier League this season as the Magpies occupy a Champions League spot.

Despite the club's huge Saudi backing and league position, Burn appears to have remained modest and humble in terms of his choice of vehicle.

Earlier, Dan Burn scored a header in a Newcastle comfortable victory over Brighton 4-1 on Thursday (May 18).

Newcastle are currently third in the Premier League with 69 points in 36 matches. Winning 19 matches and only losing five in the process. They just need three points to cement their place in the UEFA Champions League (UCL) for next season.

Their remaining games in the league are against Leicester City and Chelsea on 22 and 28 May respectively.
