Shakira, who is well known for her FIFA World Cup 2010 official anthem 'Waka Waka [This Time for Africa]' in the football fraternity, reacted to Morocco's quarter-final victory over Portugal in this year's mega event in Qatar on Saturday.

Morocco's victory reminded Shakira of one of the most celebrated songs of the FIFA World Cup, sung by her in 2010.

Taking to Twitter after the historic victory, the Colombian singer wrote; "This time for Africa," wrote Shakira.

Shakira's 'Waka Waka' is one of the famous official anthems of FIFA World Cup. The song portrayed the tradition and language of the host continent Africa.

Spain won their maiden title in FIFA World Cup 2010 which was hosted by South Africa.

The 2010 champions lost to Morocco in this year's round of 16 contests. The Atlas Lions beat Spain by 3-0 on penalties. The men in red will now meet either defending champions France or England in the semi-final.

France and England will take on each other in the quarter-final tomorrow at 2am (PST).
