Sarfaraz Ahmed joins Kotli Lions for Kashmir Premier League season 2

KARACHI: Former Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed has joined Kotli Lions for upcoming second edition of the Kashmir Premier League (KPL). 

In a video message released by KPL on Twitter, Sarfaraz shared that he will be representing Lions in the upcoming extravaganza. 

"I will be representing Kotli Lions in this year's KPL. I would like to thank franchise owners Khalid Zia and Faisal for selecting me as their icon player," he said. 

"We will try to make a strong team for this year and win the tournament," he said, while also asked cricket fans, "I am ready for live KPL action, are you?"

It must be noted here that Rawalakot Hawks won the inaugural edition of the KPL in 2021. Hawks were led by flamboyant all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi.
