Pakistani club beats Indian side to win Super Sixes tournament

Pakistan’s cricket club Dare Karachi defeated India’s Kolkata Cricket Club by eight runs in the final of the 39th RBSC Super Sixes 2024 tournament which was played in Bangkok, Thailand.

Karachi remained unbeaten throughout the tournament as they defeated one Bangladeshi and two Indian teams in Round Games. Their journey continued as they went on to beat Malaysian side Penang Sports Club in the semi-final before finally toppling India in the final.

Kolkata won the toss and opted to bowl first in the final. Batting first in a five-over match, Karachi set an 80-run target for their opponents. Sohail Khan scored 35 off 12 balls as he set the tone of his side’s batting and helped them set a defendable total.

They successfully managed to restrict their opponents to 71/1 in five overs. Ekansh Dobal top-scored for his side scoring 36 runs on 12 balls.
