Pakistan beat Ireland by seven wickets to start their super six stage in ICC Women’s U19 T20 World Cup on a winning note.
The girls in green, who are placed in group two of this stage, chased down 114 runs in 17.3 overs.

Set to chase 114 runs, Pakistani openersShawaal Zulfiqar (18) andEyman Fatima (25) set the perfect tone for their team, scoring 44 runs for first wicket partnership.
Eyman who showed her class at such a young age in this tournament couldn't go longer this time around. She scored 25 off 17 including four boundaries and a six.
Shawaal and Eyman fell consecutively for the sum of 44 runs. Back-to-back wickets put Pakistan under pressure for a while but captain Aroob played a much-needed cameo to take Pakistan out of trouble.
Aroob made 35 off 25 balls and also partnered strongly with Warda Yousaf to score56 runs together.
Zara Craig,Freya Sargent andGeorgina Dempsey shared a wicket apiece for Ireland.
Earlier,Annabel Squires smashed 55 runs to help Ireland score 113-7 in 20 overs.Zara Craig made17 runs.
For Pakistan, Anoosha Nasir took two for 17 and Rida Aslam bagged two for 26 as Ireland could only score 113.
