Pakistan vs Ireland: PCB provides update on Shadab Khan, Hasan Ali

All-rounder Shadab Khan and pacer Hasan Ali joined the Pakistan squad in Dublin, the Pakistan Cricket Board confirmed on Wednesday.

Shadab and Hasan are part of the squad for the three-match T20I series against Ireland but missed the training camp and didn’t travel with the team from Lahore on Tuesday.

Pakistan team will participate in its first training session ahead of the series on Thursday.

The first T20I between Pakistan and Ireland is on May 10.

Pakistan are placed on seventh position in the ICC T20I Rankings, while Ireland are at 11th.

The series will help both teams prepare for the upcoming T20 World Cup, which begins on June 1 in the United States and West Indies. Pakistan and Ireland are also in the same group in the World Cup and will lock horns on June 16 in Lauderhill.
