KARACHI: Pakistan's veteran cricketer Shoaib Malik and her Indian wife Sania Mirza remained in limelight over the past few weeks as rumours of their divorce made rounds on the media.
The Pakistan-India couple, who tied the knot in April 2010, had reportedly parted ways.
Shoaib and Sania remained silent on the rumors, putting their fans and well-wishers in confusion.
Finally today, the followers of the celebrity couple got to hear something positive.
Taking to Twitter, Shoaib dropped a birthday wish for Sania who turned 36.
In a significant post in reference to widely-spread divorce rumours, Shoaib wrote; "Happy Birthday to you Sania Mirza. Wishing you a very healthy & happy life! Enjoy the day to the fullest."
The post managed to gain massive attention as their fans now think everything is fine between the couple.
However,a source close to Malik claims that the rumours of their divorce are false. The differences are part and parcel of every relationship, the source said.
