Pakistan will face New Zealand in the fifth and final T20I of the series at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Saturday.

The home side are 2-1 down in the series, with one match washed out due to rain, and will look to register a win in order to level the series.

Pakistan vs New Zealand fifth T20I prediction

Pakistan are likely to play their full-strength team today, with the series on the line, which will increase their chances of a winning against a New Zealand side which is missing many of its star players.

With the backing of the home crowd and team combination, Pakistan should win today’s match and level the series.

The Green Shirts came close to chasing the target down in the fourth T20I but fell four runs short as all-rounder Imad Wasim couldn’t take his side over the line in the last over.

After being put into bat first by Pakistan captain Babar Azam, the visitors posted 178/7 while Pakistan finished on 174/8 in the chase.

This was Pakistan’s second loss in the five-match T20I series against New Zealand and their chances of winning the series are over as, even with a win in the last match, they will only be able to level it.
