Emerging Pakistan batter, Mohammad Haris, has revealed his ideal franchise batting partner, expressing a strong preference for batting alongside star player Babar Azam over veteran Indian cricketer Virat Kohli.

Both Babar and Kohli are renowned as modern greats in white-ball cricket, boasting numerous records.

Given Haris' current affiliations with Babar, playing together for both the Pakistan national team and Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), the possibility of teaming up with Kohli seems unlikely due to the restriction on Pakistani players participating in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

In a podcast with Zalmi Media, the 22-year-old emphasised his loyalty to Babar, stating that he would always choose the Pakistani batter as his preferred partner. Haris highlighted the invaluable guidance and support he has received from Babar, both in terms of his batting skills and overall development.

It must be noted that Babar and Haris are currently representing Zalmi in the ongoing PSL 9. Babar-led side have played three games and have only one. They are currently facing Lahore Qalandars in their fourth match of the season.
