Pakistani pacer Hasan Ali has undergone finger surgery in Sri Lanka after he got injured during the Lanka Premier League (LPL).

Hasan, while representing Dambulla Aura in the tournament, got injured during the Qualifier against Galle Titans. He could only bowl three overs in the Qualifier and had to leave the field.

His teammate Dhananjaya de Silva shared an update on Instagram related to the latter's injury. "Speedy recovery brother," he wrote.

Hasan finished the LPL season four with eight wickets in five matches at an average of 16 and an economy of 6.8.

His team beat Titans in the Qualifier by six wickets to make it into the final. They will play against either Titans or B-Love Kandy, who are set to take on each other in the last playoff match tomorrow, in the final which is scheduled for August 20.

Hasan missed out on Pakistan's team for the Afghanistan ODI series and Asia Cup, both are scheduled in Sri Lanka.

Pakistani players have gathered in Hambantota today to get ready to start a long cricket season ahead. They will take on Afghanistan in three ODIs on August 22, 24, and 26.

Asia Cup will start on August 30 in Multan with hosts Pakistan taking on Nepal. All-important Pakistan vs India clash to take place on September 2 in Kandy, Sri Lanka.
