KARACHI: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) management committee chairman Najam Sethi shared that they have decided to bring back Mark Coles as national women's team head coach.

Speaking in pitch side show on PTV Sports at lunch on day 2 of first Pakistan vs New Zealand Test, Sethi said foreign coaches are the solution of national teams like they worked for them in his previous tenure.

"We need to bring foreign coaches so that favoritism culture finishes. We are bringing back Mark Coles as women's team coach," he shared.

Coles served as Pakistan women's team head coach from 2017 to 2019. He resigned after Ehsan Mani took charge as PCB chairman.

While talking about women's league which was announced by former chairman Ramiz Raja, Sethi said they have to think about it.

"It's an important thing and we will keenly think about it. We are modern and can organize a franchise league for women cricketers," he said.

Reportedly, Pakistan men's team coach Mickey Arthur is also likely to return to his previous job. Currently, he is in contract with Derbyshire county for three years.
