India's Neeraj congratulates Pakistan's Arshad for historic performance in Commonwealth Games 2022

KARACHI: India's Tokyo Olympics 2022 gold medalist Javelin Thrower Neeraj Chopra congratulated Pakistan's Olympian Arshad Nadeem who won Gold medal with a record throw of 90.18m in the Commonwealth Games (CWG) 2022. 

Neeraj replied to Arshad's victory Instagram post and applauded his Pakistani counterpart. "Congratulations Arshad bhai for gold medal and crossing 90mtr with new games record. Aage ke Competitions ke liye all the best," he commented. 

On Sunday, Arshad made the whole Pakistan proud by winning Gold medal for the country in athletics event of Commonwealth Games after 60 years. Arshad, a 25-years-old Javelin Thrower, not only improved his personal best record but also created the CWG record by throwing at a distance of 90.18m.
