LONDON: Jasprit Bumrah claimed his best bowling figures in ODIs as India outclassed England by 10 wickets in ODI series opener here on Tuesday.

Bumrah was unplayable as he rattled England's batting line that fell on paltry 110 runs. Starting off with top three batters, Bumrah went onto take six wickets for just 19 runs in his 7.2 overs.

England openers Jason Roy and one down batter Joe Root were clueless in front of Bumrah.

Mohammad Shami was another nightmare for the English side who also lost ODI series to India by 2-1. The right-arm pacer bagged three wickets for 31 runs in his seven overs.

England's new skipper Jos Buttler was the lone survivor in the middle as he scored the most 30 runs for the home side. However, his innings also wasn't too long as Shami got rid of him.

In reply to the target, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma scored unbeaten 76 runs to help India finish off in style. Shikhar Dhawan remained not out for 31 runs as India wrapped up a 10-wicket victory.
