Olympian Arshad Nadeem suffers arm injury, to undergo surgery in London

Pakistan Athletics Federation (PAF) will bear expenses of Arshad Nadeem's surgery in London

KARACHI: Olympian Javelin Thrower Arshad Nadeem suffered arm injury during his training in South Africa for World Championship and Commonwealth Games. 

According to details, Arshad met an injury in his arm which is worsening gradually. Following his arm condition, Pakistan Athletics Federation (PAF) has decided to get his surgery done in London after World Championship and Commonwealth Games.

PAF's president General (Retd) Akram Sahi ensured complete treatment of Arshad who represented Pakistan in Tokyo Olympics 2020 on a high note. 

"We are taking good care of Arshad who will be treated in London for his arm injury. We have hired foreign sports surgeon and physio for his treatment. Arshad is our hero and we will make sure he gets good treatment after two mega events," he said.
