KARACHI: Sunrisers Hyderabad's young right-arm pacer Umran Malik, has taken everyone by storm with some exceptional and unbelievable quick bowling in this year's Indian Premier League (IPL), and now he has received an immense praise from Dale Steyn who believes that he has semi-cemented his spot in that Indian team in the future.

It should be noted that in SH's yesterday's clash against Gujarat Titans, Umran put up a brilliant and sensational fast bowling display and dented opponent's run-chase with all five scalps. Amazingly, he was given the man of the match despite ending on the losing side.

Meanwhile, former South African fast bowling great, while speaking in a video posted by on SH's official Twitter handle, opened about his remarkable spell of 5-25.

"Umran was fantastic. I think he is semi-cemented his spot in that Indian team in the future. I may come to eat my words. He was wonderful today," Steyn said.

"The pitch conditions suited him perfectly as it did for somebody like (Mohammed) Shami and ran in and hit the deck really hard. Bowled straight lines really quickly and disturbed the timber quite often. He was absolutely marvelous," he added.

It should be noted that clash between SH and GT was a nerve-wrecking encounter as Rashid smacked four sixes in the last over to help his team win the nail-biting game at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on the final delivery.
