PAK vs AUS: Fans cheer up for Imam's dismissal to watch Babar's batting

Walking back to the pavilion after scoring 157 runs, Imam gathered praise from the crowd

RAWALPINDI: Pindi boys were eager to watch Pakistani skipper Babar Azam's batting on Day 2 of the opening Test here at Pindi Cricket Stadium. 

Imam-ul-Haq played magnificently well for Pakistan but his dismissal was cheered up by fans as it brought in Babar at the crease. 

A video went viral on social media in which fans were chanting for Imam to go out. 

Walking back to the pavilion after scoring 157 runs, Imam also gathered praise from the crowd. 

Later on, Babar got run out after scoring 36 runs. Pakistan declared their innings for 476-4. Azhar remained the highest run-scorer with 185 runs. 

Bad light called off Day 2 of the opening Test with Australia at 5-0. The play on Day 3 will resume 10 minutes earlier.
