RAWALPINDI: As the historic series between Pakistan and Australia is all set to begin with the first Test of the three-match red-ball series taking place at the Pindi Stadium on March 4, the Aussies seems to be done with the preparations and are ready for the all-format series to finally get started.

Australia, who are touring Pakistan after a gap of 24 years, have sent a full-strength side and they will play three Tests, three ODIs, and a one-off T20I during the one-month series.

The Aussie Test skipper Pat Cummins and middle-order batter Steve Smith shared videos of his their team's training session on their official Twitter handles.

They also showed excitement about the series. "Prep done, can't wait for the series to start tomorrow," tweeted Cummins.

In the small video on the fast bowler's Twitter, he can be seen running hard at full sprint and delivering the ball with good speed and length during the practice session.

Apart from being a skipper, Cummins will have a huge role to play for Australia as a striking bowler and will have to make great use of the new ball to put Pakistan under early pressure.

Meanwhile, Smith also shared a small video in which he can be seen engaged in his normal batting practice and playing all the shots in the book during the training session.

"Prep done. Let's play," Smith tweeted.

Smith, along with other star batters like David Warner and Marnus Labuschagne, will have a huge burden to play some masterful innings if they want to thump Pakistan in their own backyard.
