KARACHI: Former Pakistani pacer Mohammad Amir has returned to training after recovering from an injury that he sustained before the beginning of the recently concluded seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
The left-arm pacer picked up a back injury before the beginning of the event, which later deteriorated during a training session. The injury forced Amir to pull out of the tournament without playing a single match.
"Alhumdulillah recovered from injury and start doing my training," the cricketer tweeted.
Karachi Kings were unfortunate in PSL 2022 as they lost nine matches out of the ten they played. It was counted as worst-ever PSL campaign by any team.
