Former South Africa legendary fast bowler Dale Steyn says that the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 high-intensity clash between arch-rivals Pakistan and India on October 23 in Melbourne will be an ''absolutely crazy'' contest.

Steyn while talking to Star Sports said: "It's going to be crazy. Just the game aside, it's incredible. MCG is one of my favorite venues to play cricket. We played against India at the 2015 World Cup at the MCG. It was so loud when I tried to call whoever it was at mid-on from the middle, they couldn’t hear me.

"Now you turn the tables a little bit with Pakistan involved. It's going to be absolutely crazy," Steyn stressed, about the intensity of the match.

The ICC T20 World Cup 2022 will roll into action from October 16 across seven venues in Australia, while the high-octane Indo-Pak match will be played at one of cricket's most historic and iconic stadiums, the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).

Both India and Pakistan have been placed in Group 2 alongside South Africa and Bangladesh, while the two other teams to join them will be the Group B winner and Group A runner-up.
