Originally, the ring was a gift from Bryant to his father, Joe 'Jellybean' Bryant.
This ring is an additional copy of the championship gift Kobe won, specifically ordered by him to present to his father over two decades ago.
According to Goldin, this is not an executive version of the championship ring, but the exact ring given to Bryant, Shaquille O'Neal, and other Lakers players.
