Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, officially known as the Sheshrao Krushnarao Wankhede Stadium, is one of India’s most iconic cricket venues.

Situated in the Churchgate area of South Mumbai, it was inaugurated in 1974 and has been a central hub for international and domestic cricket for decades.

Since a major renovation ahead of the 2011 Cricket World Cup, Wankhede’s seating capacity has been set at approximately 33,108 spectators.
