Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Pallekele
Pallekele International Cricket Stadium is a premier international cricket venue located in Pallekele, near the historic city of Kandy, Sri Lanka.
Opened in 2009 and fully operational for international matches by 2010, it was built as part of Sri Lanka’s preparations for the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup and quickly established itself as a modern, scenic ground in the island’s hill country.
In terms of capacity and facilities, Pallekele can host approximately 35,000 spectators, placing it among Sri Lanka’s larger cricket grounds.
