The 17th Match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2022 is being played between Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Lahore Qalandars were the perennial failures of the PSL but that changed last year when their remarkable transformation saw them make the final where they lost to Karachi Kings.

Peshawar Zalmi have won PSL once in 2017 and finished as losing finalist on two other occasions. They made it to the play-offs last year but only just and were eliminated in the first hurdle.
