Mohammad Yousuf is a former Pakistani cricketer who is popular due to his record of most Test runs in a calendar year. He achieved the feat in 19 innings in 2006 by scoring 1,788 runs at an average of almost 100. His highest score during that year was 202 and he struck nine hundreds and three fifties. In 2007, Yousuf was awarded the ICC Test Player of the Year.
He also scored a hundred in the Boxing Day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
Yousuf was also part of the Pakistani squad which finished as runners-up at the ICC Cricket World Cup in 1999.
